Brass W

The brass island is the jewel in the crown of this kitchen. Against the dark background of stained oak, the polished brass surfaces gleam. The work surface is made of solid brass, the front panels from thinner sheets that have been edged and soldered. The patina that builds up gradually is very much desired; it’s what gives this island its unique look.
